Wisconsin School Safety Coordinator’s Association is proud to continue the Professional Growth & Development Scholarship Program Applications: The WSSCA Professional Growth & Development Program has been developed to promote and encourage Wisconsin school safety professionals to enhance their school safety skills and knowledge and share their experience with fellow WSSCA members. Applications will be accepted throughout the year until the funding for that year is exhausted. The WSSCA Professional Growth & Development Program consists of two different components: 1. WSSCA Membership, or WSSCA Seminar or Conference, or WSC Seminaar or Conference Scholarships (Maximum award of $100 per applicant towards training and or memership dues) This component involves the waving of WSSCA Membership Dues (existing WSSCA members are not eligible) based on need or funding participation in a WSSCA / WSC training session or conference up to $100 per applicant. 2. Professional Growth Scholarships (Maximum award of $750 per applicant) This component involves funding more extensive training, coursework (WCS, college or technical college) or other professional growth opportunities (such as attendance to a national conference) for existing WSSCA members up to $750 per applicant. Professional Growth Scholarship applicants are expected to “reinvest” back to WSSCA (such as presenting at a WSSCA conference, writing an article for the WSSCA newsletter, or developing a program or tool for use by the WSSCA membership).
